    I assume that the “Krugmann is off today” was not properly attributable to Kristol. If I’m mistaken about that, I would like to add that it seems to me that Kristol is off many days.
    In today’s column he focuses much, much too exclusively on economic considerations. Important as that is, it is almost always only one of many significant considerations in our selection of leaders, and in our leaders’ ability to effectively lead our country. With respect to the latter, I believe that subscribing to or rejecting bizarre religious notions, and or the groups pushing such nonsense, is a significant one.
